Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer
Location:
NP - Newport / surrounding work postcode areas
Salary: £40,000
OTE £60,000
Renewables training also provided, bonus to already have it.
Job Type: Permanent
We are currently seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join our team on a PAYE basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing gas systems and appliances for our clients.

- Work in an allocated local radius - working area is guaranteed
- Full van stock supplied
- Unlimited overtime and out of hours work available
- Service, Diagnose, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
- Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems are working efficiently and meet safety standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
- Maintain good communication with clients and team members
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within the social housing sector
- Knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
- Core gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
- Full UK driving license
- Clean DBS
