- Provide cost‑effective and timely plans for delivery of product to customers
- Optimize and continuously improve variable distribution costs using internal tools and cooperation with location planners
- Ensure key tasks support 0/0/0 objectives
- Apply financial acumen to decision process to achieve lowest possible routing solutions
- Focus on reducing delivery expense while working systematically with regional and corporate distribution teams
- Generate, monitor, review and improve Distribution KPIs
- Disseminate large amounts of data and make logical, rapid and accurate decisions
- Quickly grasp new PC applications (Omnitracs, Peoplenet, Accu Star, Des Cartes)
- Support all fleet and distribution systems
- Develop and create reports assigned by center supervisor, corporate management and as needed
- Participate in projects assigned by management
- At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- At least three (3+) years of experience preferred
- Must be able to work the required weekday planning shift at Cahokia Logistics Center (TBD)
- Ability to work closely with all levels of the corporation and influence decisions
- Strong self‑directed professional with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, problem‑solving, and customer service skills
Shift: 2nd Shift, 11:00am – 07:30pm
Pay Range: $57,750 – $84,700, depending on experience.
