Job Description- Supervise daily sanitation operations, including cleaning, sanitizing, and inspection of equipment, production areas, storage areas, docks, breakrooms, restrooms, and other assigned facility areas.
- Lead, coach, train, and hold sanitation associates accountable for performance, attendance, safety, and quality of work.
- Assign daily tasks and ensure sanitation schedules are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with company policies, GMPs, food safety standards, OSHA requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of work areas and equipment to verify cleanliness and sanitation effectiveness.
- Ensure proper use, handling, labeling, and storage of chemicals and cleaning supplies.
- Maintain sanitation records, cleaning logs, chemical usage records, inspection reports, and corrective action documentation.
- Partner with operations, quality, maintenance, warehouse, and safety teams to address sanitation concerns and facility needs.
- Investigate sanitation issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Support internal, customer, third-party, and regulatory audits as needed.
- Ensure sanitation equipment is properly maintained and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels of sanitation supplies, PPE, chemicals, and cleaning tools.
- Enforce safe work practices and ensure associates use required PPE.
- Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, counseling, and performance feedback for sanitation team members.
- Communicate shift updates, sanitation concerns, staffing needs, and operational issues to management.
- Promote a clean, safe, organized, and respectful work environment.

Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior sanitation, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or food production experience preferred.
- Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, sanitation procedures, chemical safety, and workplace safety standards preferred.
- Ability to read and follow cleaning procedures, safety instructions, chemical labels, and written work instructions.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
