Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $36 to $40 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the team members to orchestrate the full cycle month-end and year-end close, and consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner, monitor progress and changes
- Compile the monthly financial package and review monthly reconciliations and schedules, post adjusting journal entries, and provide useful variance analysis as appropriate
- Manage accounting functions including general accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition, fixed assets, A/P, A/R, and inventories. Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Experience with Sage software a plus
