Century Group is working with a real estate client who is seeking a Staff or Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of accounting and financial reporting for residential properties
- Monthly review of all general ledger accounts and preparation of necessary adjusting journal entries in a timely manner
- Monthly review and posting of 'Gross Potential Rent' and associated rental revenue accounts
- Preparation of monthly budget variance reports/explanations
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel) and accounting software-Yardi
- Detailed oriented and multitasking
- Excellent organization skills
- Able to perform duties with little supervision
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of 3 years of property management accounting experience
