Our client is looking for a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise, practical experience, and meticulous attention to detail to manage our financial operations effectively. You will collaborate with our part-time in-office Bookkeeper and send monthly reports to our CPA. Additionally, you will handle monthly and quarterly sales tax reports, contracts, invoices, purchases, sales, accounts payable (A/P), and accounts receivable (A/R).

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $25 to $36 per hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the general ledger.
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable.
  • Handle payroll processing through a professional service and manage tax reporting.
  • Maintain accurate financial transaction records.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions in a timely manner.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and job cost reports.
  • Proficiency in Quick Books Online.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to resolve financial issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong foundation in bookkeeping and financial report management.
