ZWP’s Los Angeles office is dedicated to the full-scope design and development of high-end custom residences and condominium projects. Our work primarily serves premium communities including Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Encino, Pasadena, and surrounding high-value neighborhoods.
Role SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and design-oriented Junior Architect / Interior Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career designers (0–3 years of experience) who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in high‑end residential design and development. You will work closely with project leadership and senior designers, supporting architectural and interior design development from concept through construction.
This role offers exposure to luxury custom residences and provides opportunities to grow in design development, documentation, detailing, and construction-phase coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of architectural and interior design packages from concept through construction documentation
- Assist in creating mood boards, material studies, presentation drawings, and client materials
- Help prepare drawings, 3D models, and renderings under the guidance of senior team members
- Support FF&E research, product sourcing, and material selection
- Coordinate drawings internally and assist in consultant coordination
- Assist with drawing updates, revisions, and documentation management
- Participate in site visits and construction meetings as needed, supporting field coordination and documentation
- Help review submittals and RFIs under supervision
- 0–3 years of professional experience in architecture or interior design
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Proficiency in Sketch Up, Rhino, Enscape (or similar rendering tools), AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Revit is a plus
- Strong interest in high-end residential design
- Basic understanding of construction documentation and detailing
- Strong graphic and visual communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and willing to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with California building codes is a plus
- Clear and professional communicator with a calm, organized, and self‑directed approach to work
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented residential environment
