A leading real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition and management of multifamily apartment communities. The organization partners with property owners, investors, and joint venture partners to deliver comprehensive services including property management oversight, asset management, financial reporting, and strategic investment support.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee monthly financial reporting for multiple multifamily assets.
- Review financial statements, general ledger activity, bank reconciliations, and AP/AR.
- Prepare cash flow statements and calculate distributable cash for each asset.
- Manage capital improvement draws and capital calls; prepare and submit requests to lenders or partners.
- Lead interim and annual financial audits; coordinate with auditors and property management teams.
- Assist with annual budget planning and variance analysis.
- Prepare and distribute financial packages to joint venture partners and lenders.
- Maintain internal schedules for reserves, capital projects, and lender/partner reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred, not required)
- 5+ years of multifamily real estate accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate financial reporting
- Experience with Real Page or similar property management/accounting software preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with capital transactions, lender reporting, or joint venture structures is a plus
- Real Page (or comparable property management/accounting software)
- Microsoft Excel and standard accounting tools
