In-House Finance Manager​/Controller

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented In-House Finance Manager / Controller to oversee financial operations across both personal and production-related entities.

This is a high-trust role responsible for building strong financial systems, ensuring accurate reporting, managing cash flow, and providing strategic insight for decision‑making.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of implementing structure and financial visibility at a high level.

• Prepare and present monthly Profit & Loss statements
• Maintain accurate balance sheets and cash flow reporting
• Reconcile all bank, credit card, and loan accounts
• Develop financial dashboards and executive summaries
• Monitor KPIs for production budgets and revenue

• Build and manage annual and quarterly budgets
• Create cash flow forecasts and capital planning models
• Conduct scenario modeling for investments and projects
• Provide cost analysis for upcoming productions and initiatives

• Manage bill payment systems and approval workflows
• Maintain organized documentation and controls

• Oversee payroll for employees and contractors
• Coordinate with payroll providers
• Ensure tax compliance and filings
• Track compensation and benefits reporting
• Implement internal controls and financial safeguards
• Maintain separation between personal and business finances
• Improve reporting structure and financial processes

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or controller‑level roles
• Experience managing payroll and accounts payable
• Strong budgeting and forecasting experience
• Proficiency in Quick Books or similar accounting platforms
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• CPA preferred but not required
• Experience in entertainment, digital media, or production finance is a plus
