Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst is an integral part of company wide financial analysis, planning, and forecasting. Responsibilities may include partnering with various business stakeholders to prepare short-term and long-term financial planning and/or financial analysis of business operations and property level performance based upon focus area. Prepares, collects, tracks, validates, and interprets financial information; creates and maintains budgets, reports, forecasts and conducts financial and operational analyses.

Supports program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to departmental goals and planning efforts.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for examining, analyzing, and interpreting internal operational data from various data sources to create and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual operational metrics reports.

Prepares supporting materials and analyses for the company’s public reporting and investor communications, including SEC filings, investor presentations, earnings materials, and other supplemental disclosures.

Performs ad hoc financial and business analyses to support strategic decision-making, including trend analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling and other special projects as assigned.

Builds, maintains, and enhances financial and operational reporting dashboards using business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).Extracts, manipulates, and analyzes large datasets using data tools (e.g., excel, SQL, etc.) to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required

Minimum two (2) years of experience in a related field

Real Estate industry/REIT experience preferred

Experience with SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and developing automated reports and dashboards from large, complex datasets preferred CPA preferred

Basic understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements

Basic understanding of SOX compliance

Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred

Strong analytical and data management skills, including the ability to gather, validate, and interpret large volumes of financial and operational data from multiple sources

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and other functions

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong customer, quality, and results orientation

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $89,739.00 to $ Annually. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation This position is eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus.
