In this role, you will oversee seasonal production strategy, manage complex vendor partnerships, and drive delivery performance to support our brand’s growth, margin objectives, and elevated customer experience. We need a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable navigating the granular details of purchase orders as they are leading a high‑performing team.
What You’ll Do- Production Strategy: Set and execute production strategies aligned with seasonal calendars, assortment architecture, and go‑to‑market deadlines
- Operations & Planning: Manage time and action calendars, capacity planning, and the full lifecycle of purchase orders
- Supply Chain Leadership: Build and cultivate strategic partnerships with factories, fabric mills, and trim suppliers. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and capacity commitments to optimize margins
- Quality Assurance: Define and enforce quality standards throughout the lifecycle. Partner with Technical Design and QA teams to resolve fit and workmanship issues
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce lead times, and improve speed‑to‑market
- Team Development: Mentor and lead a production team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance
- Financial Reporting: Track KPIs, including unit costs, on‑time delivery, and margin targets, providing clear reports to leadership on status and risk
- Experience: 12+ years of production management experience in the fashion/apparel industry, with at least 8+ years in a leadership role
- Track Record: A proven history of scaling production operations in high‑growth, fast‑paced, multi‑channel environments
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in ERP, PLM, and inventory systems. Expert‑level Excel skills for reporting and costing analysis
- Relationship Management: Strong experience managing global vendor relationships and navigating cross‑cultural communication
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, Production Management, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
- Operational Agility: Ability to balance speed, quality, and cost, with a strategic mindset for both near‑term execution and long‑term growth
- This is a 5-day on‑site role in Calabasas, CA
- Role requires the ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds (samples, garments, materials)
- Frequent travel (25–30%) is required for factory visits, vendor meetings, and trade shows, including international travel to key manufacturing regions
