Title: Clinical Data Assistant (Job Code: CVDJP)
Location: Calabasas Hills, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 6-month contract with potential for permanent hire
Compensation: $24/hour (W2) + Benefits
The Clinical Data Assistant plays a key role in supporting Quality Assurance initiatives that ensure laboratory excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a Life Sciences graduate with 1–3 years of experience who is looking to expand their career in QA, compliance, and laboratory operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Quality Assurance projects related to quality control, quality improvement, and compliance
Archive and maintain data binders, training files, and equipment records
Compile and organize data for instrument correlation and carryover testing
Create graphs and reports for monthly quality indicators
Perform data entry for rejected assays, CEUs, and equipment tracking
Generate CEU certificates
Run reports from Master Control, Access nonconformance database, File Maker, and other quality systems
Assist in maintaining compliance with CLIA, CAP, FDA, and state regulatory standards
Follow SOPs and laboratory safety guidelines
Communicate quality-related concerns to QA leadership
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field
1–3 years of relevant experience in a laboratory, quality, or regulated environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with data systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured, compliance-driven setting
