As a Security Officer PT Vehicle Patrol in Calabasas, you will safeguard clients in a range of industries, including commercial real estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to deter security incidents, respond to alarms and routine concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: Fridays and Saturdays, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving intent, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe foot and vehicle traffic, and support property rules by addressing unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations in a professional manner.
• Assist with alarms, service calls, and tenant-related concerns while maintaining a visible presence and communicating with management, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Guard card and/or license preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required, as permitted by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
