The Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for managing warehouse staff, coordinating daily fulfillment operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role focuses on maximizing productivity while meeting customer service expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead warehouse associates during daily fulfillment operations
- Plan and prioritize picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities
- Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations
- Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on schedule
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory audits
- Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment, and safety practices
- Coordinate staffing levels to meet workload demands
- Investigate and resolve shipping, inventory, and operational issues
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, productivity, and on-time shipping
- Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, transportation, and customer service teams
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization following 5S standards
- Prepare operational reports and communicate daily performance to management
- High school diploma or GED required; associate s or bachelor s degree preferred
- 2–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Experience with Netsuite and inventory control
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer and reporting skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- 90% of time to be spent on the floor guiding the team
- Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Bend, stoop, climb, and reach throughout the workday
- Work in varying warehouse temperatures
- Operate warehouse equipment safely
- Experience in wholesale high-volume distribution along with vendor compliance and routing
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge
- Experience managing productivity and labor metrics
- Familiarity with barcode scanners, RF devices, and shipping software
