We are looking for a reliable, motivated General Service Technician to join our fast-paced automotive repair shop in Caldwell, Idaho. Our shop has been in the Caldwell Community for over 40 years & it has a steady flow of work. We have a Great motivated Team, but we are missing another team member with the same ambition and willing to be part of a supportive team environment and have opportunities to advance into higher-level technician positions.
Responsibilities- Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services
- Rotate and install tires
- Complete vehicle inspections and recommend maintenance needs
- Replace air filters, wiper blades, batteries, and light bulbs
- Perform fluid services and basic preventive maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently while following safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians
- Automotive experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Dependable and punctual
- Basic hand tools preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Physical Fitness:
Ability to lift heavy objects 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks. - Manual Dexterity:
Skill in handling tools and performing precise tasks with hands - Attention to Detail:
Precision in inspecting and repairing tires to ensure vehicle and personal safety - Customer Service
Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical aspects in an understandable manner - Problem-Solving Abilities:
Aptitude for diagnosing issues and determining the best course of action for repairs - Teamwork:
Ability to work well in a team, contributing to a cooperative work environment

- Saturday 7:30-4:00
$18.00-$25.00 Per Hour (DOE) with the opportunity to earn more depending on performance
