Position: Experienced Commercial Painting Estimator Company: Adam Roe Painting, Inc.
Pay Range: $70,000-$88,000 per year + Performance and Year-End Bonuses Industry: Commercial and Residential Painting Location: Meridian,  
Job Overview Adam Roe Painting, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Painting Estimator to join our Sales & Client Relations division. In this role, you'll be responsible for estimating a wide range of commercial and industrial painting projects-with a focus on new construction, familiarity with plans and market analysis to stay competitive, you will thrive in this position.

You'll take ownership of takeoffs, labor projections, client communications, and bid tracking. This is a critical, full-time role with long-term advancement potential within our system-driven, performance-based company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately estimate commercial and industrial painting, coating, and flooring scopes
  • Perform plan takeoffs using tools like Bluebeam or Plan Swift
  • Apply proper production rates and build labor projections based on real-world site conditions
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and perform site/job walks to gather project data
  • Communicate directly with GCs, vendors, and internal teams to clarify scopes
  • Track bid submissions, follow-ups, and performance metrics in CRM
  • Collaborate with project managers for seamless handoffs post-award
  • Help refine estimating processes and support consistency across bids
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of professional estimating experience in commercial painting or coatings
  • Knowledge of coatings systems, surface prep, and job sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with takeoff and estimating software (Bluebeam, Plan Swift, etc.)
  • CRM and Google Workspace familiarity preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of personal accountability and follow-through
  • Valid driver's license and safety training required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Schedule
  • Monday - Friday, Full-Time

    - Serving Idaho and surrounding project regions.
  • Minimal travel may be required for job walks or meetings.
