4-H Youth Instructor - Moscow, Idaho 25-26

The 4-H STEM Ameri Corps program provides direct service to youth in out-of-school time programs, including after school clubs, summer camps, and community workshops. Members lead and facilitate STEAM-based curriculum, mentoring and modeling essential life skills to foster curiosity, problem‑solving, and creativity among participants.

• Coordinate, plan, implement and evaluate summer programming events in STEAM and healthy living for diverse and underserved audiences.
• Deliver summer programs effectively.
• Build and network with community partners and UI Extension faculty and staff to bring programming events to their areas.
• Assist with supervising and delegating tasks to 4‑H leadership teens during summer events.
• Complete accurate data reporting.
• Recruit and work with volunteers as needed.
• Serve as mentors and role models, teach important life skills, and provide youth with positive opportunities to explore the world around them in a fun, engaging, non‑formal learning environment.
