4-H Youth Instructor - Gooding County 25-26

The 4-H STEM Ameri Corps program offers direct service to youth through out‑of‑school time programs such as after school clubs, summer camps, and community workshops. Members lead and facilitate STEAM‑based curriculum, serve as mentors and role models, and help create a safe, supportive environment where youth can explore new ideas and develop confidence.

• Co‑ordinate, plan, implement, and evaluate summer programming events in STEAM and healthy living for diverse and underserved audiences.
• Deliver summer programs and adapt lessons to meet developmental needs of different age groups.
• Build and network with community partners, Extension faculty, and staff to expand program reach.
• Assist with supervising and delegating tasks to 4‑H leadership teens during events.
• Complete accurate data reporting and support volunteer recruitment and engagement.
• Serve as mentors and role models, teaching life skills and fostering positive relationships.
