At Care Options for Kids, our school-based Behavioral Interventionists play a vital role in helping students build positive behaviors, strengthen social skills, and succeed academically. This role is designed for professionals who are patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting students in a structured school environment.

In this position,you’llwork directly with students to implement individualized behavior intervention plans,monitor progress, and collect data to guide instruction.

You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure consistent strategies across settings and help create supportive, predictable learning environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 yearof experience working with children, preferably with special needs

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 40 hours of ABA/RBT training completed

• Ability to work effectively within a team and apply proactive problem-solving strategies

• Strong documentation and data-collection skills

• Ability to respond to and manage crisis situations as outlined in IEPs

• Ability tolift up50pounds and safely manage physical behaviors as needed
