Resident Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an on-site Resident Manager at the Hazel Park Apartments in Caldwell,  a Resident Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the apartment community, while also providing exceptional customer service to our residents. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families in our community.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including lease agreements, rent payments, and maintenance requests
• Assist with leasing and renewing leases, as well as processing tenant applications
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of vacant units and office/common areas
• Identify and report maintenance issues during unit turns, and perform minor maintenance and repair work as needed
• Perform grounds-keeping duties, including landscaping and snow removal
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding promptly to their concerns and needs
• Live on-site at the Hazel Park Apartments, serving as a role model and advocate for the community
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic knowledge of record keeping and computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to foster a positive community environment
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong communication and self-motivation skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be willing and able to live on-site at the Hazel Park Apartments, with a private apartment provided by the organization
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
