Truck prep, wash quality, safety, and customer satisfaction

Vehicle Prep & Wash Quality
  • Follow the dedicated wash process for each wash package (Fresh & Clean, Prime Shine, Bluebird Signature).
  • Use proper brushes, mitts, and tools — do not mix or contaminate tools between vehicle types.
  • Maintain speed without compromising quality or safety.
  • Visually inspect vehicles during prep and exit for missed spots or problem areas.
  • Call for touch‑ups or re‑washes when quality standards are not met.
  • Communicate IQ issues (noise, behavior changes, malfunctions) to Supervisor or AM immediately.
  • Avoid acid use on polished or delicate surfaces.
  • Be mindful of fragile or damaged areas (tail lights, peeling paint, broken glass, rock chips).
  • Keep a safe distance with pressure wands and maintain control of spray angles at all times.
Customer Experience & Sales
  • Greet every customer courteously and professionally — deliver unreasonable hospitality.
  • Qualify vehicles by dirtiness level and help guide customers to the best wash option.
  • Pitch memberships and higher‑tier washes using approved talking points.
  • Use positive language even under stress or pressure.
  • Escalate customer concerns or unusual requests to Supervisor or AM immediately.
  • Offer upgrades, re‑washes, or touch‑ups proactively when necessary.
  • Represent the company professionally — maintain appearance, tone, and energy that reflect brand standards.
Site Cleanliness & Safety
  • Own the appearance of the tunnel, pit, driveway, lobby, and breakroom.
  • Keep tools clean, hoses managed, and stations organized during every shift.
  • Sweep, mop, and spray down areas throughout the day — not just at closing.
  • Empty trash, clean windows, and wipe down chemical surfaces regularly.
  • Perform mid‑day and end‑of‑day cleanup checks per checklist.
  • Report and address any safety hazards immediately (oil, ice, tripping hazards, leaks, etc.).
  • Ensure tunnel tools are stored properly, buckets have clean water, and brushes are ready for use.
  • Support site cleanliness during downtime — teamwork over idleness.
Team Contribution & Communication
  • Arrive on time, uniformed, and ready to work.
  • Follow direction from Supervisors and Managers promptly and respectfully.
  • Rotate between stations to balance workload and maintain engagement.
  • Assist teammates during busy periods or when volume slows.
  • Log shift issues or customer complaints accurately for management review.
  • Stay off phones during work hours unless approved by leadership.
  • Communicate broken equipment, dirty tools, or missing supplies immediately.
