You're the first face people see when they picture living here
You make a great first impression and back it up with follow-through. You can read what a prospect is really looking for, show them how this community fits their life, and close with care, not pressure. You take pride in a full house and residents who are glad they chose you. If that sounds like you, we want to meet you.
At Roundhouse, our mission is simple and serious: putting humanity into housing. Since 2008 we have grown into a developer and manager of diverse real estate across four states, with more than 10,000 multifamily units and over $2B in assets under management. We got here by challenging the status quo, building communities people are proud to call home, and hiring people who genuinely care about the resident experience.
As a Leasing Consultant, you manage the leasing process from first hello to signed lease, and you help keep current residents happy enough to stay.
Our cultureOur culture is what makes Roundhouse unique, and it shows up in how the whole team works:
- One Team: We put people first, work with humility, and celebrate wins together.
- Self-Starter: We take initiative, own outcomes, and push ideas forward with energy and purpose.
- Forward Thinker: We stay curious, embrace change, and explore better ways to serve our residents and partners.
- Commitment to Excellence: We set high standards, double-check details, and take pride in doing the work right.
- Welcome prospects, answer their questions, and verify eligibility as their first point of contact.
- Build strong resident relations by addressing concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and driving retention.
- Walk the community daily to keep tour paths, models, amenities, and common areas sharp.
- Prepare and process notices to vacate, renewals, service requests, applications, move-ins and outs, transfers, and roommate changes.
- Hit community goals for occupancy, renewals, and turn times, with at least a 35% rental closing ratio.
- Manage resident communication channels and keep accurate CRM records.
- Track local market trends, complete monthly market surveys, and recommend competitive pricing to the Community Manager.
- Support marketing initiatives and flag local opportunities to management.
- Help plan and host resident events and activities.
- Keep resident and vendor files accurate and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures in the Employee Handbook, SOPs, and on-equipment labels.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, safety procedures, and company policy, and represent Roundhouse positively in every interaction.
