Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

Are you looking for a leadership role where your accounting expertise drives both daily operations and strategic growth? Our client Seastrom Manufacturing located in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking a hands-on CONTROLLER to lead key accounting operations, manage cost and inventory controls, oversee treasury functions, and provide guidance and leadership to the accounting team.

This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial systems and ensuring GAAP-compliant reporting by performing full-cycle accounting, analyzing variances to drive strategic improvements, and preparing dashboards and external financial statements for leadership and the board. You will lead and mentor a dedicated accounting team, present financial insights at executive and board meetings, and oversee WIP, job costing, inventory control, estimates and commission tracking.

Additionally, this role will manage cash forecasting, treasury functions, debt servicing and bank/credit relationships, drive ERP reporting requirements, and oversee payroll, and key vendor relationships.

Qualifications include bachelors degree in accounting or finance, and at least 5 years of direct senior-level accounting or finance experience. Proven experience in managing an accounting team, with a deep understanding of cost accounting and an exceptional ability to translate complex financial data into strategic recommendations. Strong communication skills and advanced Excel proficiency are essential. Experience in the manufacturing and/or distributing industry highly preferred.
