Framer - Sidewalls Department (Manufactured Housing / Construction)
Now Hiring – Start Immediately | Weekly Pay | Consistent Hours
KIT Custom Home Builders is actively hiring Framer to join our Sidewalls Department. This is a full‑time, year‑round position in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with consistent hours, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.
What You’ll Do- Build and assemble sidewall framing components for manufactured homes.
- Set and position sidewalls onto units as part of the production process.
- Measure, cut, and install wood materials according to specifications.
- Install sheetrock as needed and secure work to meet applicable codes and standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and nail guns safely and efficiently.
- Use ladders safely and work on rooftops as needed to complete assigned tasks.
- Ensure all framing and setting work meets quality and production standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
- Previous framing, construction, or carpentry experience preferred (will train the right candidate).
- Ability to read measurements and use basic construction tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to work with and around large wall components.
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
- Monday – Friday
- Week 1 (Training): 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- After Training: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Overtime available (paid at 1.5×)
- Occasional Saturdays based on production and staffing needs
- Starting at $24.00 +/hour, DOE.
- Weekly pay (Fridays – one week in arrears).

- Fast‑paced production environment with daily output expectations.
- Work may be repetitive and physically demanding.
- Exposure to noise, dust, wood materials, and varying temperatures.
- Handling and positioning large wall sections.
- PPE required (safety glasses, hearing protection, closed‑toe footwear).
