Summary

The Production Coordinator serves as the central point of coordination for production activities, ensuring accurate communication, documentation, scheduling, and project tracking. This role supports production operations by maintaining records, monitoring progress, facilitating cross-functional communication, and driving process improvements to help projects stay on schedule and operate efficiently.

Accountabilities
  • Coordinate communication between Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Project Management, and Leadership teams.
  • Maintain production schedules, project tracking systems, reports, and documentation.
  • Conduct production floor walkthroughs to gather updates, identify obstacles, and communicate priorities.
  • Track project milestones, production progress, and completion dates.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, action items, and status reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and standardized processes.
  • Monitor scheduling priorities and escalates potential delays or conflicts.
  • Promote compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support operational reporting, data tracking, and performance metrics.

Required Knowledge/Experience
  • Associate degree in Business, Operations, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience supporting production, manufacturing, construction, or project-based operations preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production tracking systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
