Our Molex facility in Caldwell, Idaho is seeking Operators to join our team. Operators at this site help build custom fiber optic bundles and cable assemblies used in medical, industrial, and other customer applications. This is hands‑on production work that involves following written instructions, handling small parts, and paying close attention to detail. Previous fiber optic experience is not required. We are looking for people who are dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable doing careful, detailed work in a team environment.
DayShift: Monday‑Friday Our Team
Our Operator team works in a clean, well‑lit, temperature‑controlled production area. The work is precise and can be repetitive, but training is provided. Operators follow standard work instructions, use tools and microscopes to assemble and inspect product, and help make sure each part meets quality requirements before it moves to the next step.
What You Will Do- Follow safety, quality, and work instruction requirements while building fiber optic products.
- Assemble, inspect, clean, or test small fiber optic parts and sub‑assemblies.
- Use microscopes or other tools to inspect product surfaces and check for quality concerns.
- Handle delicate materials carefully and keep product organized as it moves through production.
- Document production steps, product movement, and any quality concerns as required.
- Keep the work area clean and help support continuous improvement in the production area.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
- Assembly experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, military, lab, or other hands‑on work environment.
- Experience using small tools, microscopes, inspection equipment, or written work instructions.
