Framer - Ceilings Department (Manufactured Housing / Construction)
Now Hiring – Start Immediately | Weekly Pay | Consistent Hours
KIT Custom Home Builders is actively hiring Framers to join our Ceilings Department
. This is a full-time, year-round position in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with consistent hours, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.
- Build and assemble ceiling framing components for manufactured homes
- Install roof trusses and structural ceiling components
- Assist with basic electrical work related to ceiling systems (wiring, fixtures, or prep as assigned)
- Set and position ceiling sections as part of the production process
- Measure, cut, and install materials according to specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and nail guns safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work meets company quality and production standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
- Previous framing, construction, or production experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
- Experience with trusses or structural assembly is a plus
- Basic electrical knowledge is helpful but not required
- Ability to read measurements and use basic hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, reach overhead, and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work at heights or on elevated surfaces when required
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
- Monday – Friday
- Week 1 (Training): 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- After Training: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)
- Occasional Saturdays based on production needs
- Starting at $24.00+/hr. DOE
- Weekly pay (Fridays – one week in arrears)
