Saw Operator / Material Processor - Mill Department (Manufactured Housing / Construction)
Now Hiring – Start Immediately | Weekly Pay | Consistent Hours
What You’ll Do- Operate saw equipment including table saws, upcut saws, and panel saws.
- Measure, cut, and process wood materials according to specifications.
- Assist with material handling and preparation for production.
- Ensure accurate cuts and maintain quality standards.
- Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures when operating machinery.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
- Previous saw, woodworking, or production experience preferred (will train the right candidate).
- Experience with table saws or similar equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read measurements and use measuring tools accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work safely around machinery and cutting equipment.
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
- Monday – Friday.
- Week 1 (Training): 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
- After Training: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Overtime available (paid at 1.5x).
- Occasional Saturdays based on production needs.
- Starting at $24.00+/hr. DOE.
- Weekly pay (Fridays – one week in arrears).
