We are looking for a Shipping/Receiving Specialist at our Phillips Medisize facility in Caldwell, Shipping/Receiving Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity and performance of internal processes, on‑time delivery to our customers, accurate inventory tracking, proper flow of materials to production, and secure packaging and shipping of products.
What You Will Do- Retrieve ready‑to‑ship product from QC, Inventory, and Management
- Create invoices, Shipper Export Declaration (SED) and satisfy government NAFTA requirements
- Issue raw materials and supplies that meet job specifications and ensure on‑time delivery to the floor
- Perform and complete all incoming receiving activities daily to ensure materials match packing list documentation, properly store and maintain inventory, and assign new locations/bins as necessary
- Monitor and evaluate all transactions entered in our ERP system, including:
- Issue all components to the assigned job and verify quantity
- Ensure all fixtures or additional miscellaneous items are available for production, working with other departments if necessary
- Supply additional components to assemblers, ensuring parts are issued to the specified job
- Route parts through incoming inspection as identified
- Move parts into inventory, assigning bins/locations as needed
- Work with incoming inspection, machine shop, and QC to move parts into inventory as necessary
- Provide and receive cross training as requested
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Familiarity with picking, packing, and issuing materials in a manufacturing or shipping environment
- Experience with sales order fulfillment, shipping, packaging, crating, or receiving
- Experience in at least one of the following: reading, analyzing, interpreting manufacturing drawings, purchase orders, technical procedures, written correspondence, and responding to questions from colleagues
- Experience using an ERP system
