Steelheads Tacklebox - Retail Merchandise Associate

As a Retail Associate at the Tacklebox, you’ll provide exceptional customer service, support merchandise operations, and ensure smooth retail transactions during daily shifts and event-based sales.

• Provide excellent customer service on the sales floor and at the point of sale (POS).
• Operate the cash register, accurately handle all forms of payment, and reconcile transactions.
• Greet customers, offer assistance, and guide purchasing decisions based on customer needs.
• Maintain and control merchandise inventory and stock presentation.
• Set up and tear down retail locations for events, including merchandise and fixtures.
• Support visual merchandising standards through general upkeep and display maintenance.
• Assist team members to ensure efficient transactions and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Follow company procedures for opening, operating, and closing the retail location.
• Take direction from supervisors and complete tasks thoroughly and promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior retail, sales, or cash‑handling experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional, friendly, and customer‑focused demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must demonstrate a high level of motivation and consistent energy throughout shifts.
• Comfortable working toward and meeting sales goals.
• Must be available to work 75% of the Idaho Steelheads games on the schedule.

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and move frequently throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
