Area Sales Manager

YER USA is excited to partner with a growing international manufacturer of specialized technical products to identify a Territory Sales Manager for a multi-state Northwest territory.

This is an opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, working independently, and spending significant time in the field. The successful candidate will partner closely with distributors, dealers, contractors, municipalities, and end users to grow market share and support an established customer network. The role requires regular travel throughout the territory, including customer visits, ride-alongs with channel partners, product demonstrations, and overnight travel as needed to maintain a strong presence across the region.

Unlike many sales roles that focus heavily on cold calling and transactional selling, this position is centered on relationship development, technical consultation, territory ownership, and channel partner engagement.

• Develop and grow sales throughout an established Northwest territory.
• Support and strengthen relationships with distributor and dealer partners.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Partner with channel representatives to identify and close new business opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and partners.
• Manage territory activity, planning, and pipeline development independently.
• Maintain an active field presence throughout the region, including regular travel and overnight stays to support customers and channel partners.

• Outside sales, territory management, account management, business development, or related experience.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience working in industrial, technical, equipment, infrastructure, manufacturing, utility, municipal, or adjacent markets.
• Ability to learn and communicate technical products and solutions.
• Comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision.
• A self-motivated, driven approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience working with distributors, dealers, channel partners, or reseller networks is highly valued.
