AI Platform & Operations Intern

US

Overview

We’re looking for an AI Platform & Operations Intern to support the infrastructure, security, and operational backbone that keeps production AI agents safe and reliable. You’ll help improve deployment pipelines, monitoring, and guardrails, and work with engineering and security partners on enterprise‑appropriate data handling and access patterns.

What You’ll Do
  • Support AI production operations: assist with deployment workflows/pipelines and operational runbooks that help keep systems stable.
  • Help implement and maintain guardrails and safety controls (policy‑driven constraints, validation checks, and reliability protections) aligned to enterprise use.
  • Contribute to monitoring and telemetry: help track health signals, quality indicators, and alerting patterns for AI‑enabled workflows.
  • Assist with security‑focused operational work (e.g., least‑privilege access patterns, auditability support, and coordination with security/compliance).
  • Help with incident‑prevention and response readiness: participate in operational reviews, root‑cause hygiene, and reliability improvements.
What Success Looks Like
  • You leave the platform more production‑ready: clearer operational checks, improved monitoring/alerting or guardrails, and better reliability documentation for the team.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a BS/MS in CS/IT/Cybersecurity/Engineering (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
  • Interest and foundational knowledge in at least two of the following: cloud infrastructure, Dev Ops/CI‑CD, monitoring/telemetry, identity/access control, and security fundamentals.
  • Strong communication, good operational judgment, and comfort working with ambiguity in a real production environment.
  • Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Azure services, Dev Ops practices, or security operations concepts (monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management).
  • Nice to Have:
Interest in regulated environments / secure data handling.
