HVAC Maintenance Technician

At American Rooter & Drain (ARD) we are looking for a reliable, personable HVAC Maintenance Technician to protect customers from breakdowns and build trust through routine maintenance and proactive service.

• Perform seasonal maintenance services on residential heating and cooling systems.
• Conduct thorough system checks to identify early signs of wear or failure.
• Inspect filters, safeties, ductwork, pressures, and temperatures to ensure peak performance.
• Clearly communicate findings and maintenance recommendations to homeowners.
• Educate customers on the value of preventive maintenance plans.
• Set leads for HVAC service & replacements, as well as plumbing inspections needed by the customer.
• Work with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail on every visit.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from senior technicians.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• Physical stamina; able to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Rotating 5‑day schedule:
  Monday‑Friday 7 AM‑7 PM, Saturday 8 AM‑5 PM; closed Sundays.

Full‑time. $16.00 – $22.00 per hour.
