Commercial Roofer

Upson Company is seeking Commercial Roofers to install, repair, and maintain low slope and flat roofing systems on commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. In this hands-on construction role, you'll remove old roofing, install insulation and membranes, flashings, and sheet metal, and ensure watertight, high-quality results. Work safely at heights using harnesses, ladders, and roof equipment while following OSHA and company safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain low-slope and flat commercial roofing systems
• Remove existing roofing materials and prepare roof substrates
• Install insulation, membranes, flashings, and sheet metal details
• Perform routine roof inspections, leak investigations, and maintenance
• Use hand and power tools, roofing equipment, and safety gear correctly
• Work safely at heights following OSHA and company safety procedures
• Load, unload, and stage roofing materials on roofs and job sites
• Read and follow basic plans, specifications, and supervisor directions
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites and company equipment
• Work cooperatively with crew members and supervisors to meet project schedules
