School Bus Flex Drivers provide bus transportation in the regular driver's absence.
GENERAL INFOJOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONSDISCLOSURESAttachmentsThis is a continuous recruitment position. Work hours and assignments will vary.
LPOSD hires Bus Drivers to scheduled routes from the Flex Driver (substitute) pool.
- Rate of Pay: $19.12/hour for 2025/26 School Year
- All required training is provided by LPOSD
- Age 21 or older
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to meet the physical examination standards of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to maintain valid Commercial Driver's License with School Bus and Passenger Endorsements, and air brake qualified
- First Aid & CPR Certification (Provided by LPOSD)
