Job Overview
The Warehouse Associate / Backup Driver is responsible for accurately and safely stocking, organizing, and managing warehouse inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting daily shipping and receiving of orders. The role ensures materials are handled efficiently and safely to support timely customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities- Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
- Assist customers on the phone and in person, often involving order entry into Agility Pull and preparing customer orders for pick-up, UPS shipment or delivery.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
- Assist with cycle counts and other forms of physical inventory verification as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Act as a backup driver for non-regulated vehicles and perform backup non-CDL driving duties.
- Lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
- Stay in motion and move heavy products in busy warehouses/outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
- High school diploma or combination of work experience and education.
- Experience in a distribution, fulfillment, or warehouse environment.
- Forklift certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training).
- Must pass drug screen, driving screening, and background screenings.
