Job DescriptionPara educator
We are looking for a Para educator to provide support to the instructional program within assigned classrooms. The role includes supervision, care and instruction of students with special needs, implementing instructional plans, monitoring student behavior, and providing information to appropriate school personnel.
Qualifications- Must hold an associate’s degree (or) have completed a minimum of 48 hours of study at a regionally accredited institution of higher education (or) have successfully completed the Alabama State Board of Education approved WORKKEYS test.
- Good physical and emotional health, including ability to lift as well as to implement behavioral management programme with students of varying ages and sizes.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
