Report to:
Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Manager (non-exempt, Tier 2 - Experienced)

The Assembly Technician II is an experienced manufacturing professional responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical and electro-mechanical products in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision while interpreting complex schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.

• Electrical & Mechanical Assembly – Interprets schematics, assembles panels, installs wiring, control components, and mechanical parts, performs torquing, fastening, alignment, and adjustments to meet design specifications.
• Testing & Troubleshooting – Conducts functional testing, continuity and insulation resistance tests, diagnoses and resolves assembly issues, and verifies proper operation before final inspection.
• Quality Assurance & Inspection – Performs in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet engineering, customer, and regulatory specifications, documents results, and supports corrective actions.
• Process Improvement & Team Support – Works independently, mentors entry-level technicians, provides feedback on assembly processes and tooling improvements, and collaborates with engineering and quality teams.
• Safety & Compliance – Follows company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and OSHA regulations, maintaining a clean and secure work environment.
