Position SummaryWe are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Quality Technician with some testing and industrial manufacturing experience. This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity, safety, and compliance of all plant power and control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections and testing of electrical wiring and equipment for final assemblies.
- Ensure electrical installations meet company standards.
- Inspect and verify proper installation of motor control centers, switch gear, and panels.
- Troubleshoot and evaluate power systems, control circuits, and related electrical issues.
- Conduct acceptance testing and documentation of new and upgraded assembly installations.
- Identify and report potential electrical hazards or deviations from plans/specifications.
- Review electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics for compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with project engineers, operators, and supervisor teams to support new assembly installations and upgrades.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and provide reports with findings and recommendations.
- Support the commissioning process of power and control systems in new or modified builds.
High School
Minimum Years of Experience2–4 years
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology or related field preferred. - Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of electrical testing procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to interpret and analyze electrical schematics, blueprints, and system layouts.
- Skilled in using multimeters, insulation testers, meggers, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a plant environment.
- Ability to use drills, hand tools, torque wrenches – set to a standard.
- Quality technician experience.
- Switchboard assembly.
- Electrical assembly testing.
