Production Manager, Production QC/QA
Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily shop‑floor operations for switch gear manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are met. The role provides direct supervision to production employees while coordinating with engineering, quality, and supply chain to support efficient, on‑time build of electrical power and control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for switch gear and electrical equipment manufacturing
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees, including onboarding, training, and performance feedback
- Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety‑first culture on the shop floor
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency standards
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve build issues, nonconformances, and process improvements
- Monitor labor utilization, workflow, and material availability to minimize downtime
- Conduct daily production meetings and communicate priorities, goals, and expectations
- Maintain accurate production records, labor reporting, and work order documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, lean manufacturing, process optimization)
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and electrical manufacturing standards

All positions require customer focus with a service‑oriented attitude as well as attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt to changes in daily activities is essential. Ability to travel and work overtime/weekends, as needed, to meet customer and in‑house demands.
