Job Description
They will start their day with a morning meeting and go over which machines they will be on for the day. Level one will stay in one area, level two will be on rotation, and level three will be moving around. They have to be able to shift between workloads and machinery. They must be able to work in hot, cold, and noisy environments with dust/fumes.
These people will be operating and maintaining machines while inspecting parts for quality and safety. They may have to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to operate a forklift or overhead crane
- Experience calibrating measuring tolls and performing inspections
- Ability to do a full setup (tooling, fixtures, offsets, work holding)
- Strong understanding and ability to read complex prints like GD&T and understanding of G&M codes
- Ability to understand and determine required CNC program modifications (feeds/speeds, minor geometry changes)
- Experience making setups, selecting correct tooling based on setup sheets
- Experience troubleshooting machine issues and product/manufacturing improvements. Specifically, troubleshooting scrap, chatter, and tool life.
- Forklift and crane operation
- Experience and proficiency running multiple machine types (lathe+mill)
- Training for trade schools, associates degree
- Programming experience
- Valve work, Casting (ductile iron, brass, bronze)
