Quality Technician

The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of power and plant control systems to ensure products meet customer specifications, safety standards, and company requirements. This role works closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify issues, perform inspections, document findings, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections and quality checks on electrical components, control panels, and power system assemblies.
  • Test and verify functionality of plant control systems, wiring, and electrical components.
  • Review drawings, schematics, specifications, and work instructions to ensure compliance.
  • Use measurement tools and testing equipment to inspect products and identify defects.
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and assist with root cause investigations.
  • Document inspection results, test reports, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions.
  • Verify materials and components meet required specifications before production use.
  • Work with production teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
  • Perform final inspections prior to shipment to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and follow company safety and quality procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process improvement projects.

Previous experience in quality inspection, electrical systems, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Knowledge of power systems, control panels, PLCs, or industrial automation is a plus. Experience using inspection tools such as multimeters, calipers, gauges, and other testing equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues. Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.

Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to follow safety procedures and quality standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
