Active Member - You must live within 30 minutes of Calera, Alabama.
Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 12:30 to 16:30.
Become a certified search and rescue technician with Alabama Search and Rescue. We are a statewide agency that works with law enforcement across the state of Alabama to help locate endangered missing persons using scent discrimination trailing Bloodhounds.
We have Field and Incident Command positions available.
Active members live within 30 minutes of our Stations, they train on the 1st and 3rd Sunday afternoon of each month. These members are First Responders and respond to emergency calls in our Department Vehicles. Our command staff, team leaders and K9 handlers are all Active members. We provide all the training needed. You must be able to pass a background check.
