Sanitation Associate
Our client, a leading food distribution company, is seeking dependable Sanitation Associates to support warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization at their Calera, AL facility. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build warehouse experience with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent position.
Location:
Calera, AL 35040
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (initial training schedule provided upon hire; most associates will maintain this schedule following training)
Contract Duration:
Approximately 744 total hours (contingent assignment)
Hours:
40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
Travel:
None required
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness throughout designated warehouse areas
- Travel through assigned warehouse sections to collect and remove debris, including wood pieces, shrink wrap, label backings, and other waste materials
- Assist with movement of materials as needed
- Support a safe and organized warehouse environment
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout shift
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Dependable and consistent attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse or sanitation experience
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards
- Interest in transitioning to a permanent role
