Mind Care Solutions, is a leader in comprehensive mental health solutions in various settings: clinician owned and operated. We are seeking a Correctional Psychiatrist to manage the operation and provides overall direction and leadership for the provision of the mental health services in the facility. This position has the primary responsibility of providing administrative and clinical coordination for the comprehensive mental health care program for the inmates/residents.
Compensation: up to $185/hr
Location: Calexico, CA
Schedule: H ybrid/Part-Time: 24 hours per week telehealth,
Requires 16 hours a month on-site.
Position Summary:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with facility policies.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Valid California medical license.
- Experience in correctional or detention facility settings is preferred.
