Summer Student - Personal Lines Coordinator (Calgary)

We currently have a temporary summer position available for a SAB Personal Lines Coordinator in our Calgary office. The duration of this role will be from approximately May 4th, 2026 – August 28th, 2026. Reporting to the Personal Lines Manager, this role is an excellent opportunity for a post-secondary student looking to gain some practical, hands-on working experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Distribute mail;
• Process cancellations, endorsements, renewals and new business;
• Obtain background reports;
• Conduct basic underwriting on policy changes;
• Set up new files;
• Various other duties as required.

What You’ll Bring:

• Must be currently enrolled in a related post-secondary program;
• Speed, accuracy and attention to detail;
• Excellent computer literacy and keyboarding skills;
• Effective communication skills with an emphasis on customer service;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Ability to work effectively within a team;
• Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn;
• Must be able to work from the office.
