Position: Full-Time Project Administrator Role
Join the University of Calgary as a Full-Time Project Administrator within Biomedical Engineering, managing essential support functions for research and faculty operations. Ensure compliance with policy while facilitating effective administration.

In this position, you will be responsible for guiding faculty and staff on research-related regulations and overseeing departmental budgets. Engage with various stakeholders, track project milestones, and navigate financial processes essential for research management. Your insights will help maintain the integrity of the department’s research efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice on University research policies and guidelines

• Coordinate the establishment of research accounts

• Process invoices and manage departmental ordering

• Support faculty recruitment and onboarding processes

• Maintain accurate data and documentation for projects

Requirements:

• Business administration or accounting degree/diploma

• At least 3 years of relevant administrative experience

• Familiarity with financial reporting systems and HR processes

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
