Indigenous Affairs Administrator
SLB is seeking a personable and proactive individual to join our team as an Indigenous Affairs Administrator
. Based in Calgary, AB, this role is central to supporting administrative operations and representing SLB within Indigenous communities. You will be an essential SLB face at community events, facilitating connections, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth execution of business processes related to Indigenous partnerships.

Your positive attitude and adaptability will help drive SLB’s commitment to supporting Indigenous initiatives, while your organizational skills will contribute to efficient office and event management.
Roles and Responsibilities- Organize, coordinate, and set up Indigenous events such as pow wows and community gatherings, acting as SLB’s representative.
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure Indigenous communities and businesses for accounts payable and receivable.
- Travel frequently to Indigenous communities, fostering relationships and maintaining SLB’s presence.
- Deliver public speaking engagements at events, promoting SLB’s values and initiatives.
- Manage department records, files, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Indigenous partners supporting events, travel, and organizational logistics. This role may occasionally require evening and weekend work.
- High school diploma required; a diploma in project management or a business degree is an asset.
- 0–2 years of experience; relevant internship or volunteer experience, particularly within Indigenous communities, is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required; experience with Power BI is an asset.
- Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
