THE OPPORTUNITY Administrative Coordinator
Under the direction of the Directors of Resident Experience and working within Wing Kei's mission, vision, and values, the Administrative Coordinator is a member of the administrative team who assists in developing, maintaining, planning, directing, and administering the assigned projects in accordance with the government’s policies and standards.

THE ROLE Key Accountabilities- Demonstrates, promotes and advocates the Wing Kei vision, mission and core values.
- Provides administrative and scheduling support to the Directors of Resident Experience and leads administrative workflow.
- Supervises, supports and empowers Care Administrative staff (purchasing, schedulers, unit admin assistants, receptionists etc.) to successfully execute responsibilities and team goals.
- Supports in providing reports, documents, policies, and communication to leaders and the Board of Directors.
- Assists in the preparation and implementation of surveys and audits.
- Supports communication, orientation to new residents/ families and ongoing dialogue to existing residents/ families.
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of residents, staff and Wing Kei information.
- Manages and arranges resources to support assigned projects.
- Researches and investigates information to enable strategic decision-making by others.
- Creates and organizes various documents and electronic information.
- Manages, organizes and updates relevant data.
- Provides translations between English and Chinese, both written and verbal, if possible.
- Works closely with the multi-disciplinary team and provides support if needed.
- Arranges and participates in meetings, conferences and project team activities, and takes minutes as required.
- Communicates and provides information internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Has completed a Business Administration Certification or equivalent.
- Has prior proven experience in an administrative position.
- Is adaptable and flexible, with good time management skills.
- Is able to deal proactively with change; creative and innovative.
- Has knowledge of government legislations and relevant procedures regarding health care a definite asset.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Communicates well in writing, speaking and presenting; written communication skills are an asset.
