VP of Corporate Development

Job Summary

Peloton is seeking a highly experienced VP of Corporate Development to lead the full lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments. This role will be responsible for sourcing opportunities, executing transactions, and driving post‑merger integration in alignment with Peloton’s long‑term growth strategy.

You will act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, playing a critical role in shaping Peloton’s inorganic growth agenda.

Primary Responsibilities Strategy & Deal Sourcing
  • Identify and evaluate acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities aligned with corporate strategy
  • Build and maintain a global pipeline of targets across the energy technology ecosystem
  • Conduct market mapping, competitive analysis, and industry research
Deal Execution (End-to-End)
  • Lead the full M&A lifecycle including:
    • Target screening and valuation
    • Financial modeling and business case development
    • Due diligence (financial, commercial, technical, legal)
    • Negotiation and deal structuring
  • Partner with legal, finance, product, and external advisors to execute transactions
  • Prepare materials for CEO/founder decision‑making
Integration & Value Creation
  • Lead post‑merger integration planning and execution
  • Define synergy targets and track value realization
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure seamless integration of teams, products, and operations
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, or Private Equity
  • Proven track record of leading end‑to‑end M&A transactions
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring expertise
  • Experience in software, SaaS, or energy/industrial technology sectors preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a global environment
  • Excellent communication skills with strong executive presence
